YVES SAINT LAURENT ($1,095)
The season has come to put our flip flops and sandals away but don’t fret there are lots of new shoe trends to make up for them. 1. Reptile skin-Many designers such as Giorgio Armani, Celine and Donna Karan are all sporting reptile skin on the shoes. It is a style that can be dresses up in heels or dressed down in a pair of boots. 2. Patent Leather- This type of leather can sometimes be impractical but you have to admit it looks damn gorgeous. Lots of designer like Mark Jacobs and Viktor and Rolf are mixing this trend with the colour blocking trend which looks so stylish. 3. Suede-Good suede looks absolutely fab and designers know it, that’s why suede shoes are always in this time of year. Get a pair of grey or maybe red suede boots and you can never go wrong. 4. Satin- The most elegant and sophistacted of fabrics. Satin shoes are perfect for a special occasion and must have to complete your shoe collection. 5. Wedges- This summer trend is just so awesome designers had to keep it on for winter. Of course you can’t wear sandal wedges but trainer wedges are so cute. 6. Laces- Just like the wedge trend we see laces being transformed from the delicate, feminine style for spring and summer to a sexy trend for fal and winter. Alexander McQueen and Marc Jacobs are especially loving this trend. 7. Love Buckles- Buckles are hot, buckles are sexy and buckles are so in. This repeat of fashion is a must have but easy to get wrong. If you want a thick buckle 3 is the max, thin buckle go wild! 8. Chunky Heel- Practical, comfortable and drop damn gorgeous. What more could a girl want. From boots to pumps, the chunky heel is there to make life, and walking, easier during the cold seasons. 9. Socks and Pumps- Who knew? Not many women like wearing socks in shoes but ever since Rihanna was spotted doing exactly this fans and even celebs have been going crazy over the trend. Any sock will do, spotty, stripey or plain this trend is rocking! P.s if you’re wondering why I only did 9 its because 10 is boring and typical. Be different! P.p.s Of course you don’t have to buy an expensive pair of designer shoes. Whatever designer does highstreet copies and to be honest sometimes they do it better!
